The River House is located on 21 Acres between Leaky and Vanderpool on RANCH ROAD 337, Texas’ most celebrated scenic drive. The property is surrounded by panoramic views of the surrounding hills. This property has it all no reason to leave. Spend the morning drinking your coffee on the deck listening to the sound of river as it flows over rocks while watching the sun peeking through the large cypress trees that line the bank of the West Sabinal River. Spend your evening on the large covered front porch watching the kids catch lighting bugs as the moon rises from behind the hills. During the day, you can enjoy your own private river as over 700 feet of The West Sabinal River meanders through the property. The property offers you the opportunity to experience abundant wildlife and vegetation that is truly the untamed hill country of Texas. The River House offers a very large deck that overlooks the river, fire ring for roasting marshmallows, large picnic table nestled under a canopy of large oaks, a hammock so you can take a minute and recharge and a BBQ Grill for those special vacation cookouts which seem to always make the food taste better. The River House is just minutes from Lost Maples State Park, where you can hike among the mature maple trees. Just 20 minutes west on Ranch Road 337, you can be in Leaky where you can find restaurants, shopping, entertainment and supplies. If you continue south out of Leaky in a few minutes, you can be at Garner State Park where you can enjoy the clear cool water of the Frio River. The house has a large kitchen with granite counter tops, two sinks, a large island, refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and a double oven. The kitchen is fully furnished with all the necessary utensils. The home has two utility rooms with full size washers and dryers. The home also has a media room located on the second floor with media chairs, surround sound, DVD player, Direct TV service and plenty of floor space to stretch out.
