This 4000+ square foot lodge is located in the most picturesque and rugged part of the Texas Hill Country. Each comfortable air-conditioned room has a private bath. Facilities that are available include a large commercial kitchen and dinning that will seat up to 50. Additional seating is available outside weather permitting. 2 Dens each with a fireplace that provide a setting reminiscent of the cattle baron bygone days. An elevated patio provides a cover for the lower barbecue area while permitting guest a unique view of the canyons and wildlife. 7 Canyons Ranch was well regarded as a game ranch and though no longer available for hunting features some exotic game species you don't see often. Some of the species include Antelope, Dahl Sheep, Fallow, Red Deer, Sika, Zebra and if your lucky you might even see a trophy Whitetail Deer. Don't forget to bring your binoculars. Hike to the observation deck and you can experience the beauty of the Texas Hill Country few others ever see. The 24'x38' platform suspended by natural cedar with 14' elevation give one an unobstructed view of portions of Bandera, Edwards, Medina, and Uvalde counties. Guest are encouraged to gather around a roaring fire at the "Liars Pit" in the evenings for story telling and roasting marshmallows. The lodge is a secluded and intimate place for 2 People, a great place for a Group of Friends, a Family Gathering, Retreat, or Wedding. Close to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park and Bandera Natural Area.
